Traveling to Quebec?! From the US! Best Places to Visit?

Question

Do you know of any hip/cute/fun towns with a lot night life/bars/clubs/attractions?. I'm looking for a nice town(nothing sketchy please) in Quebec to spend the weekend in. I will be traveling from the US.

If you could please name a few good towns you know of and what there is to do there. Thank You. Most Helpful answer will get 10 points<3!

Quebec City is nice. Very old city. Beatiful view of the St Lawrence River. Try to avoid Montreal. It was a dirty stinky place.
