  1. I don't think the protest will be going on that long, hope everything will  allright soon.

Any way, by the end of next week if it's not settle yet, you better move out your plan.

Sorry for the inconveniences caused. Please understand that we cannot let our country go under the ruling of the cheating, tick-skin goverment.

  2. I think if the situation there doesn't resolve itself within a few days you should consider canceling/rescheduling the trip. Here is one of the latest news stories (link below). It seems that the Phuket airport has been closed due to protests.

  3. Yes, Phuket will be safe, the airport is open now and several flights have landed. The political problems, as yet unresolved, are centered in Bangkok and you'll not have any trouble on the beach!! The weather is ok now, a little rain, take a boat trip to some of the islands, and don't forget to try some good Thai food!

Welcome to Thailand..have a nice holiday!!

  4. I don't really have much of an idea either, but I know that people travelling home today are unable to board a flight because of a protest at the airport.  If you've already booked though you should go and have a great time.

  5. Don't you worry your holiday will be fine and save. For the weather you might expect some thunderstorms and rain but it's not usually for 24 h a day.

  6. Phuket Airport is now re-opened and resume normal operation from 1200 Local Time (0500 UTC)

  7. Don't bother coming.  You could be stuck at the airport and no way to travel to or from Phuket.  The airport has opened again, but that doesn't mean they will not close it again, and they (PAD) have just stated that fact on TV.

  8. Your time in Phuket will be splendid and safe. The weather will be great maybe a hour of rain about 3 o'clock but its hot so it doesn't hang around long.  You may have to make other arrangements to get to Phuket if the Airport remains closed.  I would check with your travel agent or the Airlines.
