Traveling to mexico pasaport??

Question

ok so i went to get my pasaport but it hasent came yet is there any way i could go by plane with some paper saying that my pasaport hasent came or something like that??

You MUST have a passport to get on an international flight.  No exceptions.  it takes 6 to 8 weeks to get a passport...that has been the normal time for years, and that is what it is currently taking.  if you paid to have it expedited, it will take 2 to 3 weeks.  if you need to travel and it has not arrived, you could cross the border by land, then fly from the nearest big city if you are going someplace like Cancun, which is far from the border.
