My husband's grandmother is sick, so we are going to Ecuador. We will be staying in the house were he grew up not a hotel. Most of the time I would not care, but I am pregnant and I am just curious what should I do about fruits and water?

Also I am a citizen of Belarus still...will that make entering Ecuador hard for me?

  1. If you feel that water and food is not safe, try to by them from big stors its safer. as far for u being belarussian and wona go there, you should call the emmbessy and ask them do you need a visa.

  2. You did not specified how many months are you pregnant.  This is a very important issue since doctors do not recomend traveling after the 6th month.  Also, you should not drink any water that is not bottled.  I traveled to mexico 1month pregnant with my first child and almost lost the baby because of the water but I traveled to Spain 4 months pregnant with my second child and it was all good.  Talk to your doctor about this important matter.
