Traveling with boogie boards?

so i'm going on vacation (beaches) so i want to bring my boogie board and skim board with me, rather than rent them, but im flying there. neither of them fit into any bags that i own. i need suggestions as to how to pack them. i dont mind paying extra money to take them, but i dont know if i can just strap them together and check them or what. suggestions plz!

I have done what your trying to do when I went to Hawaii, with my boogie board.  I got some cardboard and cut it to the sizes I needed and then sealed it all up with clear packaging tape.  From there I put my full name and number and flight number on a slip of paper and taped that to the out side.  If you do that you should be good to go.  Also, call your local airport and see what they say.

We brought a boggie board home from hawaii and all we did was check it and that was it may have counted as a baag or something but we definalty got it home.
