If I come to the UK with traveller's checks in sterling (pounds) will I have to pay a fee to cash them?

  1. Don't bring Travellers Cheques to the UK.  You will only be able to cash them in at a bank.  Take some £'s in cash, but get your day to day money from a cash point.  You will get a better rate of exchange that way.
