Travelling abroad - if I lose my debit card, how will I get cash?

I'm taking my debit and credit card, and plan on trying to use cash as much as possible to pay for things. What happens if I lose my debit card though? How will I get cash?

You use your credit card to get cash either at an ATM or a bank.  Most places may not take your debit card, anyway.
