Has anyone been to Geneva? I've heard that when you're staying in a hotel , hostel etc, you get issued with a free travel pass? Is this true? Can anyone shed any light on this?

  1. Many hotels like the Atel WIndsor, Hotel Warwick, or Suisse Hotel offer their tourist the usage of the "City-Ticket Geneve (Unireso)" which allows the usage of a 6 local train-lines, 6 tramway-lines, 63 buses, and 4 ferries on the Lake Geneve free of charge.

The regular price for a 24-hour ticket, valid on weekends for 2 person would be 10,00 CHF. A regular 9-hour ticket would cost 7,00 CHF.
