  1. Here is the site of the Beauvais airport, which is located 60 miles north of Paris: http://www.aeroportbeauvais.com/index.ph...

If you click on "Shuttle service" you'll see that they have a shuttle to Paris Porte Maillot for 13 €. The trip is about 1h15min long. Then you can take the métro from Porte Maillot to your hotel:

    - line 1 (direction Château de Vincennes) to Concorde + line 8 (direction Créteil préfecture) to Grands Boulevards.

Here is the Paris public transportation website for more info or if you want to check bus routes instead: http://www.ratp.fr/

If you are renting a car, just mapquest your itinerary for directions.

  2. by Air any near airport

  3. Beauvais is, in fact, a considerable distance (about 78 km) from Paris. Taxis will  take you into Paris but are very expensive. the cost is approximately 100-120€ one way during the day, and 140-160€ with the night charge.

You can take a taxi to the train station in the town of Beauvais. Taxis from the airport to the train station charge 11€ during the day and 15€ at night. It takes about 15 minutes to reach the station. You then take the TER (regional express train) into Paris. The train trip takes about an hour to reach Gare du Nord in Paris. From Gare du Nord take the #43 bus marked "Direction : Neuilly-Bagatelle" to the Square Montholon stop (about five minutes). When you get off the bus you will be able to see the rue Papillon. Walk down it (you can only go in one direction from the bus stop) until you reach the rue Bleue (where Papillon ends and continue along rue Bleue to the intersection with the rue du Poissoniere. turn right along rue du Poissoniere and it will intersect the rue Richer. Turn right again and your hotel is about 90 meters down the street.

Shuttle buses depart from the airport 20 minutes after the arrival of each flight and take you to Porte Maillot on the city outskirts where you can catch the metro. When returning to the airport, buses leave 3 hours before the departure of each flight. Tickets cost 13 € for a trip one way and the journey time is approximately 1 hour. The tickets must be purchased on the bus and they accept cash only. (Tickets can also be purchased in advance online).

If you choose this method then get on the Metro at the Porte Maillot station and take Metro line 1 marked "Direction : Chateau de Vincennes" to the Concorde station. Transfer to Metro line 8 marked "Direction : Creteil-Prefecture (Hotel de Ville)" and take it to the Grands Boulevards stop. There are several exits from the station. Make sure to take the one that takes you to the rue du fauberg Monmarte. When you exit the station walk north along the rue du fauberg Monmarte (if you pass the rue Beregere entering from your right you are going in the right direction) until it intersects with the rue Richer and turn right. The Hotel will be about 220 meters from the intersection and on the left hand side of the street.

  4. Take the shuttle bus at the airport.

  5. I vote shuttle!!! Worth the money and time saved from trying to figure it all out.
