Hi, off travelling- just wondering if a 50ltr rucksack is enough! it seems a little small but i dont want to be in the trap lots of travellers end up in by taking too much!!!

  1. did my 4 week trip with a 26lt pack.Only needed a few t-shirts  and changes of underwear, shorts and light trousers. The slr camera and  2 lenses were the biggest items carried, wish i`d had a digital then.

  2. where is australia and who would ever want to go there??

  3. ye defo a 75L, u can never have enough space in a rucksack!

  4. Take the 75ltr rucksack, you'll have plenty of space for any extras you pick up on your travels and remember to roll all your clothes as it makes for better packing and less creasing, have a fab holiday, Australia is fantastic.

  5. Some guys are incredibly light travellers as you can see from a couple of the other answers, but girls usually need a bit more space. Take the 75l. As Robert said, you don't have to fill it.

Remember the golden rule of packing:

Lay out what you absolutely MUST take

    Reduce it by 50%

Reduce the remainder by 50% and pack what's left.

    Enjoy your trip!

  6. take 75litre, you don't have to fill it, but it's better to have space left rather than not enough!!

  7. For a 4 week holiday, a 50l rucksack will be fine.

I went to Oz for a year and I only used just shy of 50l (and that was with my sleeping bag in the rucksack.. For a 4 week holiday, I have trouble filling a 25l rucksack.
