I'm going from the Vancouver airport (Canada) to the Detriot Airport (US). He is going in the cargo. What do I need to make sure he is all set? He is almost one year old, a small bichon x pomeranian mix. I already have a crate but what else do I need?

  1. check with the airline and US Immigration. It is international so the dog may need to be quarentined, papers showing vaccinations will almost certainly be required.

  2. XO,

Check with the airline you are flying for any documents or shots the dog may need to get into the USA. I am almost certain that he will need a rabies certificate at the least.

    Regards,

    Dan

  3. let the vet give him a pill to calm him down  and ask the vet if you should give him some water     ( no food )
