  2. If you plan to travel to those three countries just be warned English isn't going to do you any good in China unless you have a friend or a translator helping you otherwise the people who answered above have done a good job.

  4. So you will come to Singapore and Hong Kong. Like to see you here. For transversing both sides of South China Sea, it pretty good to see both side of action and you can do comparison as well.

For Singapore: Seeing things in culture is the must thing in Singapore as Singapore is a multicultural nation city. Visiting Chinatown, Little India, Kg Glam, Arab Street, Malay Village etc is a must. Also recommend you to visit NEWater Visitor Centre, Changi Chapel & Museum, Singapore Discovery Centre, Singapore Zoo, Night Safari, Singapore Art Musuem, Red Dot Traffic Museum and the list goes on. For doing, take a hippotour to see around Singapore, Ducktour to have an alternative experience, DHL Ballon to see Singapore upfront and the Singapore Flyer to get pretty views on Singapore, as well as Southern Malaysia and Riau Islands of Indonesia.

As for Hong Kong, shopping and eating seems to be more appropriate than sightseeing, but there is still lots of places to visit, like Hong Kong Discovery Centre, Hong Kong History Museum, Sam Tung UK Museum, Law Uk Folk Museum, Lei Cheng Uk Han Tomb, The Peak, Ocean Park, Giant Buddha Statue at Lantau etc and the list goes on and on. For things to do, there is more to go for than Singapore, like savouring Dim Sum at one of the Cantonese Restraunts, Visit one of the Hong Kong Style Coffee Shop to have your meal, try Yuen-Yong, the territorial drink at its best, taking the peak tram, catch a star ferry between Central and Tsim Sha Tsui, watch the lightning show at evening at Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade, take the Hong Kong cheapest and oldest public transport still survive - the double decker electric tram for a measly HK$2 only !!!!

As for the last part, there are many things that you can take note of. But since your are here to travel, put your head to rest and travel relaxingly. Just bring your common sense will do and will guide your way thru safety zone. Remember, you are here to relax and have fun and not to find trouble !!! So enjoy your trip and have a great one. Welcome you here to Singapore and have a pleasant stay in Hong Kong as well.
