  1. Oh I am going to Tsilivi in Zakynothos at the end of July.... man I am sooooo excited! I have been so excited I have been researching everything about tsilivi and Zante. Just google kalamaki or the name of your hotel and also go to www.zanteguru.co.uk or www.justzante.co.uk they're  pretty good for info. There are lots of sites that recommend places to eat and holiday makers log on and give their reviews. Hope you have a good time xx

    Your hotel looks nice! xx

  2. It's a few years since we were in Zakynthos but we live on Crete and you will find the price of food and drink similar to the UK.  Kalamaki is quite a small resort and shopping is generally limited to tourist clothes and souvenir shops - although Zante Town is quite nice and worth a visit on the local bus if you want something more.

Tips - take lots of suncream (it's 38C today) and never be without a bottle of water.  Its hottest from about 2.30pm until 6ish so wear a hat or find a nice cool taverna.  Mosquitos don't like lemon - or the cold.  High heels not a good idea as the roads are not good - assuming you are female of course !!

Hope you have a great time.

  3. The first 2 answers give you great advice but just wanted to say to check that your accom has air con. And if it does, it is probably at an extra fee which can be quite expensive. You will NEED air con in August....... Just didnt want you to miss that when budgeting ;) xx
