Hi.

I'm going to Paris by boat for 4 days. What should I expect? How many euros do you reckon I should take? And where should I change my pounds sterling to euros???

Thanks

  1. Use your credit card for most transactions to get the best exchange rates.

Get your Euros from your bank if you live in a major city in the UK. If you don't change your sterling at the American Express office on the rue Scribe by the Opera Garnier.

Exclusive of your hotel charges you should plan on spending at least a100 euros a day for food, metro tickets, museum entrance fees, and evening entertainment.

  2. I expect your going to have a good time in Paris. Its tourist season so it will be busy. Lots to see. I suggest at 500 euros for food anything souveneirs you might by. The only places I can think of to exchange your money, would be the airport, the hotel your staying at, or if you go down Champs Elysee they have exchange shop.
