Travelling to Puerto Vallarta in a few weeks??? Weather help!!!?

Question

My fiance (soon to be husband) and I are going to Puerto Vallarta for our honeymoon in 2 weeks! Everything I read in the weather says it will rain and thunderstorm the entire time we're there!

But I've read on here that weather is usually not as bad as it's predicted, and only rains a bit out of the day?

What are your experiences?

Rain comes and goes in Puerto Vallarta, it is actually a beautiful thing there.  It is very lush and green.  Don't worry too much about the rain, it is so hot and humid there, you will be so happy about a few rain drops >  will just cool you off.

Make sure you and your hubby to be go to a gorgeous restaurant called:  LE KLIFF  

The view is killer!  It is one of those MUST SEE places.

If you have time, take a day trip to a place called TEQUILA.  That is where the Tequila drink is made!

Expect it to be hot and humid. We tried to walk from a restaurant in the hills to the malecon and were drenched. Remember that is walking DOWNHILL. It will rain a couple times, but you may be at dinner. It usually rains late afternoon early evening for an hour or less.

In September, the rainy season is tapering down. You may still get afternoon or evening thunder showers, but they'll only last about an hour, and then they're done.  If you're out shopping when one hits, you can just go into a restaurant or bar and sip a few beers until it clears.
