Travelling to armenia...?

I am planning to go to Armenia next year after visiting my homeland Iran.I am originally Persian ,I went to Azerbaijan and did not find people very friendly toward foreigners.Have you ever benn to Armenia as a tourist?Do people like tourists there?do people speak English there?

    I'm from Iran, originally Armenian.

    I have visited Armenia several times as tourist, I wasn't considered a foreigner there, though!

    I can say yes, Armenians are very welcoming and friendly towards tourists and foreigners. As much as I've seen.

    About the English language: No, not many people speak English there. Of course the case is different for the youth.

    In Armenia - like other ex-Soviet countries - Russian is the dominant second language.

    Anyway, I think it won't be hard to find a way to communicate people there.
