Travelling tomorrow and spanish passport is out of date.?

Question

ok so im goin to lourdes tomorrow with my parish on a coach/ferry/coach. my spanish passport is out of date = /. Was planning on going to the spanish consulate at 9 (when the coach leaves) and seeying if i can get an emergency or same day passport or something I can travel with. My dad is willing to try and get me onto the ferry in dover by 3. Any one know whether its possible to get a spanish alternative to an emergency passport???

If you're Spanish and you go to France, a simple valid ID should be enough (with your non valid passport take at least one valid ID) as there are no borders anymore, and you have the right to circulate in the EU with your ID.
