  1. have a couple of nice coconuts for the coconut shy would help. as would being a swindling gypsie or at least foreign, enjoy being used and abused and being hard.  Do you feel you fit any of the above critera? or is it a romantic vision after watching 'that will be the day' which was filmed on the isle of white and my mums dog pooed on the step by the shop where it was filmed as she lived there then.

  2. it depends on fair,i would say to you, some fairs have pretty unsavoury characters working  there, not the show folk themsleves but some of the casual helpers look as if they should be prison/rehab/asylum etc,so hun if i were you id look for a better job,we have fair in town for 8 weeks every year and there is usally trouble, guys getting drunk, young girls hanging round drinking etc,not a good scene to get into!!!

  3. Grow up, it is a shite job for no hopers and people running away from something. Do something worthwhile with your life.

  4. at least 18 anyway

  5. It's not as clear cut as that nowadays, you'll find that it is mainly a family affair (excuse the pun) they are invariably travellers (pikeys) and do not welcome outsiders as much as they did back in the eighties, the person who mentioned runaways is right to a degree.

August bank holiday will soon be here, so go along and ask for some advice, but go before they open and have a look around, you will get quite a few stares from them, but hey! if you don't ask, you'll never find out.

  6. over 16 because then you are no longer a minor and can do as you wish, parents no longer have control over you, however you do have to have a talent or persuade the ringleader to let you do a different job of your choice that does not require a talent
