Travelling with children in Tanzania?

Hi - I want to take my 4yr old son to Tanzania for 4 weeks to do some orphanage work and to go on safari etc. Is it safe for him to travel and live there?

No you will get robbed and/or get aids.  I advise you to stay away from that continent.

Sure if you don't mind the risk of malaria and Dengi fever.

Make sure you get to his doctor and ask him about all the shots and pills that he may need. Some people may think that 4 is young, and it is...but if you feel that you are being called over there...Anyways, get as much info from doctors and organizations that have operations in Tanzania. I was in Malawi with a group from my high school and we worked with the CRWRC and we were glad we did.
