  1. I came down with flu-like symptoms last week and was in the same situation. I took off from work, slept A LOT, took a little benadryl(was told a few weeks ago by my doc that it is safe during pregnancy), had soup and ginger ale until I felt better. It is going to take longer to feel better without the meds that we can normally take but I felt more comfortable doing it this way rather than risk taking something harmful to baby.

Also, my doctor told me that Tylenol is also one of the medications that is OK while pregnant.

  2. Try a Hot Lemon Drink

    Boil water like.

Once water is boiled use juice from half a lemon and honey to taste.

Repeat as needed. This will help with your sore throat and might make you feel better.

  3. Try some hot chicken soup, throat lozenges, vicks vaporub, steam inhalation, and drink plenty of water and keep yourself hydrated.  Drink lemon tea.

    Hope u feel better soon.

    Happy pregnancy.

  4. Other than meds, no.  You can take Benadryl if you want, it is safe and helps dry crud up, but will most likely make you sleepy.

  5. Sleep sleep sleep! Blow your nose a lot, drink peppermint or lemon herbal teas (both okay when pregnant), try and find some peppermint or lavender (or both) essential oils and rub them on the back of your neck. Lavender is good under the eyes as well.

  6. go get saline nasal spray there's no medications it in just water it help clear the nose
