Question:

Treatment for SCIATICA?

by  |  earlier

Since having a C-SECtion 2 years ago I get a terrible pain down which goes from my buttock down my leg, sometimes I am unable to walk. I have been to my GP who said it was probably sciatica and prescribed anti inflamatories, which deal with it at the time but don't cure it. Any suggestions about how I get rid of it altogether.

  1. Another thing that could possibly help this pain is medications like Lyrica (an example only).

I would recommend getting a consultation with a neurologist (a doctor that diagnoses and treats diseases and disorders of the nervous system such as Sciatica) or a Pain Management doctor for an additional opinion on this issue to see what they think could be going on.
