Treatment of Ptosis (droopy eye lid)?

Question

Does any one know if treatment is covered by the NHS purely for cosmetic reasons? I've had it since a young age and it was never fixed, its always bothered me. Has anyone here ever had it treated?

Depends how bad it is and how it affects you in person.

I have it. Not bad, but you can definatly notice it on photos. Have had it for years.

Hi I have a sleepy eye too on my right eye, Its really starting to bother me lately. I have a slight strain in the back of my eyes. When I'm tired it seems to go into a stare as well. I'm starting to get paranoid. If you get any information about eye correction can yo let me know. Thanks a mill. I hope someone will respond to your problem soon.
