I've had this for about 3yrs now... im 21... and the docs say that i have one of the worst cases of TMJ... very severe case... anyone know of or have had or tried/experienced... any at all treatment methods for fixing/curing this.... or even any ideas/remedies to ease the pain and everything that comes along with it...

I get jaw pain, ear pain, neck pain, back pain, shoulder pain, SEVERE migraines that literally PARALYZE me...I clench BAD ( have tried bite splints,.... i destroy them ) i have ground my teeth down flat...to where i can't even bite off or barely make a tooth bite mark into something as simple as a slim jim type thing.

PLEASE anything... I can't handle this any longer... as much as i've tried to not let it.. it has put everything in my life to a big screeching halt!!

has any one tried reconstructive "surgery" on your bite... pretty much crowns and bridges and re aligning your whole bite/teeth... pretty much a brand new mouth/teeth???

  1. I took Dental Lab class and have a mild case of a TMJ  disorder myself. There are many different ways to ease the pain of the TMJ and from what you have described, it's pretty serious. Here's a website that gives self-care or medication treatment for TMJ. Hope this helps!

  2. Have you tried an NTI?  It is good for the migranes...go to their website, and maybe you can locate someone in you area who can help you....
