Treble Jig, fiercest among the lineup for the Range Rover Trophy Handicap on 16th February
The Range Rover Trophy Handicap, raced over a mile and two furlongs on turf at Meydan on Thursday, 16th February will showcase the talent of sixteen horses competing. Among the lineup, two entries are from Saeed bin Suroor and an equivalent number is representing Mahmood Al Zarooni. South African trainer Mike De Kock has covered ground with Zanzamar.

Saeed bin Suroor’s other under charge is the five-year-old bay horse, Quick Wit, who recently posted his seasonal debut victory through winning the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships Handicap against his stable mate, Fallen Idol, on 26th January.
This was his second start of the season after finishing tenth on the field of thirteen in his very first attempt. Quick Wit is now stepping up for his third start of the season.
Al Raihe trained, eight-year-old chestnut horse, Al Shemali has sustained his ranking in the last three starts to above four, finishing second once and third in the remaining starts.
His most recent start was in the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships Handicap on 26th January in which he encountered both Fallen Idol and Quick Wit (winner and the runner up from the same stable).
He is yet to post his seasonal debut victory.
The strongest contender on the field is the Al Muhairi trained, five-year-old Treble Jig. He is unbeaten through the two starts of the new season. He won the Jebel Ali Stakes at Jebel Ali on 13th January and then won the Jebel Ali Mile on 27th January for which he was entered as the 9/2 favourite.

Fallen Idol, Quick Wit and Al Shemali have raced together before and have finished on the first three slots in the same race, how would that change during this race, would unveil soon.
