Tree or Bush ? But it buzzing of flies and bees.?

I have two smallt trees in my front yard. My dad plant them 4 years ago. This is the first year this has happen. My dad says is bees, and he don't want to kill them. For his reasons......I on the other hand feels that they are flies. I need them gone, ASAP. Help!! And I need to know what happen.

If your shrub/small tree blooms, they are probably native bees that are small and resemble flies, but your Dad probably likes them because they are considered (along with hummingbirds) the best pollinators around.

Your dad and you can't decide if they are flys or bees, You don't have a pic of the bush.

Bees are an endangered species now.  Do not kill them

They won't bother you if you leave them alone. I guess you tree is in flower?

if it has pink flowers, its probably a bumblebee bush. idk about why this has done it for only one year. good luck.
