Question:

Treeless saddles..? Good/bad or indifferent?

I am thinking of getting a treeless saddle . Has anyone used one ? Any advice gratefuly received.

  1. They are really good if you have a horse which is hard to fit a conventional saddle or changes shape all the time. But they are not brilliant for giving a sturdy leg position so are therfore not great for competion.  I would say to try one and see if it suits your needs. good luck


  2. I used to have one and they are actually really nice saddles as long as you  have a horse with no withers. I really enjoyed riding in mine in fact I rode in it till the stirrup literaly fell off. I would say go for it or at least try one out and see how you like it since more than likely it will fit your horse.
