Are there more trees in British Columbia than in the rest of Canada?

As in, more tress per capita?

Or are the trees just more rare?

  1. A)  i don't know.

    B)  it may well be true.

why?  because of water.  wet areas tend to be forested, while dry areas tend to be grass.

there's more rain west of the rocky mountains.

once you go too far north, you don't tend to get trees either.

so there's a pretty good chance that there are more trees in BC.
