Question:

Trendy and fun clothing stores for girls age 5 and up please!?

OK, one of my girls is in school, the other starts this coming fall. My oldest (7 yr old) is quite comfy in jeans, tees and Nike's. My little one loves fun and funky and likes to stand out in a crowd.

That being said, I'm looking for some great clothing stores that would accent her and her personality. I love The Children's Place, GAP and places like that. I am not fond of Gymboree, and don't want to spend an insane amount as fast as she is growing right now. Are there any other stores that you can offer as suggestions? I don't shop at Wal-Mart, KMART, or Target for my kids clothes, so please don't suggest them. I live in a rural setting, so online stores would be great!!

Thanks in advance!!

  1. I recomend Pumpkin Patch for clothes. They don't really sell jeans, but have clothes for babies to teens (but more in the middle stage) and have some really pretty clothes, as well as a few casual clothes. Try it if there is a store near you!

  2. The Limited Too is a store for young girls and carries alot of trendy clothing, purses, shoes and other accessories like body lotions and hair supplies. You could check the website (www.limitedtoo.com) for more information.

    Hope that helps.

  3. hmm

try justice, libby lue, and i've seen some claire's stores that actually have clothing, but its pretty rare.

  4. old navy has the cutest girls clothing ! super affordable and adorable

  5. Justice is a good one.. or Limited Too..

  6. i definitely agree that you should check out Limited Too.

  7. you can try GAP

  8. Limited too!! Totally what youre looking for. Also, check if you have an H&M nearby. They have great prices and their clothes are awesome. Totally not walmart-ish at all.

  9. I am not sure if you just do not care for the Gymboree clothes or the prices.  The clothes lines change every year, some are better than others.    Gymboree has a new store you can shop online at www.crazy8.com.  The clothes are a little more trendy and priced much lower.  I think they are trying to compete for the Children's Place customer base.

  10. Try Maddie's Closet.

    maddiescloset.com

Its not insane but a little pricy. Depends on how much your still willing to spend.

    Also Bella Blu is great.

    bellablukids.com

I shop there and I'm 11. I'm friends with the owner, she and her daughter Isabella are really nice. She might like it!

    Good Luck!

  11. H & M is very trendy and reasonably priced, for little and big girls, they are not all over though. Check out their web site

  12. Limited Too may be a little pricey but sounds perfect for your little one!

  13. My favorite place to shop for my 5 almost 6 yr old is Children's Place!

  14. LIMITED TOO! very cute store!

  15. limited too would be great for your little one. i hope u like the store. they have trendy and cute clothes ! good luck

  16. for the 7-year old I reccomend you go to a store like steven barry's because they have very cutesy, comfortable, clothes(anything from sportwear to jeans and tees)or old navy, and for the little one who loves funky clothes, and likes to stand out,I recommend you find someone in your family that likes to sew,and make clothes so she can have her custom preference on what she would like on whatever it is that she is wearing(or if you know how to sew),otherwise I would reccomend marshalls,t-j maxx, or nordstrom rack(which has all the namebrand designers FOR CHEAP!),hope I helped!

  17. you can find some really good stuff on eBay.  type in:

    girls NWT lot

and see what you come up with.  Just some key words.  I bought a pair of diesel running shoes for 29 bucks and they were new in box.  and in the store they were 190.  Good Luck!

  18. Have you tried limited too? They have some really cute stuff! And I don't know if you have thought about this but since online shopping is good for you, you could try E-bay you can find all kinds of crazy cute stuff from all kinds of children's boutiques & such that you normally wouldn't run in to.

  19. Well when I was little like that my parents bought me clothes from the Children's Place, the Gap, H&M, Old Navy, Limited Too, Oshkosh, JC Penney's, Macy's, Nordstrom Kids (try the sales rack) and Gymboree (try the sales rack). But, you can try http://www.hannaandersson.com , http://www.cwdkids.com ,  and http://www.bestdressedkids.com . It's not like your kid will care where they get their clothes from. That comes later in life.

  20. try this website...hope this helps...=)

  21. Try Limited Too. Thats where I buy my little cousin clothes from.

  22. gap

    libby lue

    limited too

  23. My daughter is 7 and LOVES Justice. There is a lot of variety there.  Jeans t-shirts, dresses, girly stuff, etc.    She also really likes Libby Lu too.  Libby Lu specializes in makeovers, but they have HSM and Hanna Montana gear.  Justice is propably your best bet!

  24. Old Navy has some cute stuff. Try ebay for boutique clothes, Baby Phat, etc.

  25. Limited too has very cute clothes and so does justice my lil sister loves it there

  26. There is a store here @ our local mall for younger girls, it's called Limited Too ( I think) I have two boys so we never shop there but my nieces and lil cousins love it!

  27. If you shop at JCPenny, they have cute clothes for kids, and so does Nordstrom (my all-time favorite.) But that gets pricey, as you probably already know. Macy's is another department store, if you have one at your local mall. Most people have said Justice and Limited too, and those are the really big ones. Most big stores have kids sections. OTher favorites are Ross, Nordstrom Rack (the cheap version.) and Marshalls. Also, you can never go wrong with trying your hand at the sewing machine!
