Trent Boult looks forward to face Australia – Cricket News Update
Kiwi upcoming fast bowler, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Trent-Boult-c2708 says that he is geared up to face the Australians after being named in the New Zealand squad for the upcoming tour.
The left-armer has been performing exceptionally for Northern district in the domestic front where recently took his career best match figures of 8 for 74 against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Auckland-c766, despite his team getting defeated by a narrow margin.
He was not selected for the team’s recent tour of http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Zimbabwe-c3045 where emerged victorious in all formats, and even though disappointed at being over looked, Boult was simply content after performing ably in the Plunket Shield.
"[I was] pretty disappointed that I didn't get selected in that squad [that played a one-off Test in Zimbabwe earlier this month]," Boult told APNZ. "But looking back it's been a good opportunity to get a bit more game-time and get my season underway with
Northern Districts and obviously [I've] enjoyed a little bit of success there in those first couple of Plunket Shield rounds."
