Trent Bridge Test - England v India – 4th Day’s Recap
England 221 & 544 v India 288 & 158 (47.4 ov) - England won by 319 runs

The Poms won the game after posting an intimating target of 478 runs for India to level the series; however, the visitors were rattled by the quality bowling of the English pacers who packed the Indian team on a sheepish tally of 158 runs.

Tendulkar was given leg-before-wicket when he failed to judge a beautiful delivery bowled by Anderson that came in just at the last moment, while Singh’s wicket came as a result of another bouncer by Bresnan.
In the end, the Indian team could only bolster a meagre tally of 158 as they went two down in the series.
