I currently have a treo 700wx. The blackberry curve just came out for Verizon. I am thinking of switching. Is it worth the switch?? Does anyone have the curve, what do you think??

  1. It wouldn't be that bad...but your treo is decent so there's really no need to upgrade unless you have to. I would consider looking at the HTC Touch as a replacement. Oh, and the Blackberry Bold just came out and is quite the looker, but it is only for ATT.

  2. switch to iphone dude...but wait for 3G

  3. Yes, its worth the switch!! The Blackberry Curve is the most stable smart phone (in regards to application lags and 'frozen screens'). Not only are Blackberries the industry standard wherever you go, they are respected, and RIM offers a killer warranty on them.

Yes, they are a little more expensive, but you're paying for quality of the phone.

The Blackberry Bold has not yet been released, only announced. AT&T has fist dibs on the Blackberry Bold...so it is most likely they will be the first ones to release it. Unless, of course...they hang on to it for a while before releasing. Like the iPhone (eww)

  4. I would stay with the Treo, and the 800 is coming out in june for Verizon... So if you can wait a bit...  If cost is an issue the data plan for the blackberry is 3 times as much... so you may want to look at that.  I'm not fond of the Windows Mobile operating system.. I found the most stable in the market is the Palm OS...
