Question:

Treo755p vs. Blackberry (Curve?)?

I am about to get a new phone. I currently have a 650p, and am looking at the 755p. One thing holding me back is the phone quality on the 650 is horrible.

Is the 755 better?

Also, will I be able to transfer all of my stuff on my 650 to a BB (contacts, calendar, docs, and such)?

Any help is appreciated.

  1. I never had a problem with the 650p.... When I changed  to Sprint I went with the 755p.. My take on the palm os  is if it ain't broke don't fix it.  Windows mobile is a horrid operating system.  I've never messed with the Blackberrys, however, based on what I see on here, there sure are a lot of problems with them.

You will be able to transfer contacts only from the 650 to the Blackberry, everything else will have to be started again from scratch.

  2. The PalmOS is going down the drain, and fast.

Personally I have the Palm 750w, and Windows Mobile feels alot better than the old Palm OS.

That said, the Curve is a nicer device than the 750, and I'd definitely take the Curve.  It's a more powerful CPU, and is a more pleasurable experience.

I'd wait a little though, the BlackBerry Bold is coming out very soon, and it has twice the processing power as the Curve, and has 1GB of onboard memory to store your music/pictures/games/etc.

Also on the Windows Mobile front, the HP iPAQ 610 is also a very nice device.
