Tresemme Heat Tamer Spray?

Question

Everyone says it works well but somehow it doesn't work for me. Am I supposed to douse my hair until it's completely wet or just lightly mist it?

I straighten my hair a lot and so far that has been my favorite product.  I just lightly spray it on my hair and it works just fine.
