Hi, we are staying in hotel airone,sottomarina lido near venice in may,please can anyone tell us the best way to get there from treviso airport and then the best way from the hotel to venice?

there is not a direct connection between the two places but you can take the shuttle bus to venice and from there take a bus to Sottomarina.

sorry about that...i know from experience that unless you take the motorway into venitia then it is a very slow process...a taxi that is out of the question if it,s a long way..train ? are there trains in that part or.....local buses which i know are very good....maybe you should take a train from treviso to Venice? could be a sto........man utd 6 lol....could be a stop on the way for you then taxi...there well may be local trains ,there sure is buses,i,ll take a look after football and add something if i find anything

bows to mother s ...claps....i was on the north side of the venice lagoon at cavalino near lido de jesolo and you want the far south of the lagoon so getting to venice is a must and mother..i use ryanair monthly to austria ..well done mate..good advice

From Treviso airport you can get a ryanair coach on to the main island of Venice. From there, there is a bus terminus where there are several coaches and buses and an information centre.  Just a small walk from this square there are several ' bus-boats' 'which go to all the islands. Also nearby  there is a large ship which takes passangers to other parts of the lagoon.

I went last year and believe me it is easy.  Venice is really geared up for tourists.
