Tri Valley Masters team wins the 200m Medley Mix Relay title - 2011 Pacific Masters Championships
Tri Valley Masters team won the 200m Medley Mix Relay title at the 2011 Pacific Masters Championships held in Santa Cruz, California. The final session conducted the corresponding race, where the Tri Valley Masters team including Davis Wuolle, Vicki Espiritu, Luaney Rowe and Adam Conway secured the stunning victory and clinched the gold medal.
The time of this meet will not add up because of the fact that the rules laid down by FINA state that swimmers must be meeting the criteria of being at least 25 years of age to beat Masters World records. Davis Wuolle and Luaney Rowe were listed in the Mixed 200m medley relay meet as 21-year-old and 22-year-old swimmers, respectively.
Earlier, Laura Val notched the Women’s 100m freestyle crown after she touched the finishing wall with a winning time of 1 minute and 06.21 seconds, whereas, she snagged the Women’s 200m freestyle title in 2 minutes and 23.34 seconds.
In addition, Val nabbed the Women’s 400m freestyle crown in 5 minutes and 03.88 seconds, while she secured the gold medal in the 800m freestyle relay with a sterling time of 10 minutes and 27.71 seconds. Moreover, Val snatched the Women’s 1500m freestyle title with a triumphant time of19 minutes and 52.85 seconds.
Furthermore, she secured the victory in the 50m freestyle with a victorious time of 30.00 seconds, while she wound up first in the 400m Individual Medley with a time of 5 minutes and 56.27 seconds.
Besides, Laura Val took home the golden crown in the Women’s 50m butterfly meet with a time of 33.28 seconds, whereas, she earned another title in the 100m butterfly in 1 minute and 14.51 seconds. Finally, Val snared the Women’s 200m butterfly title with a sterling time of 2 minutes and 43.64 seconds respectively.
The Alameda Aquatics Masters club including such as Pierre Hathaway, August Motmans, Ashley Jones and Harry Goldsmith grabbed the gold medal in the Men’s 400m medley relay finals with a triumphant time of 7 minutes and 56.60 seconds.
