Hi there,

I might be getting a new coach and will be getting a trail lesson and i have a couple questions about them?

1. Do they cost money?

2. How long are the trail lessons?

Thanks

  1. 1. Yes. Very odd if it doesn't! :) They'll probably chrage the same as a regular lesson would be.

    2. It should be the same length as a normal lesson with that trainer would be. Probably 1/2 to 1 hour. They may make it shorter/longer though.

    Good luck!

  2. Do you mean trial or trail. If you mean

Trial: This is a lesson when you are trying out a horse that you may be interested in buying. These are only when you are serious about the horse and they will cost whatever the instructor/coach charges.

Trail: I believe this would be like a trail ride. They are most likely 2 hours long and they have set fees according to the length you choose.

Most coaches charge $25-100 (more if they are a specialty). The lessons can be whatever you discuss with that person. The norm is 30 mins (for leadline) 1 hour (what most people do for arena work) 2 hours (trail/park riding normal)  and sometimes more.

Good Luck and I hope I helped :)

  3. i'm assuming you mean TRIAL lesson (you need to work on your spelling). a trial lesson shouldn't cost anything at all. and it will probably be half an hour if it's a private trial lesson.
