Is there a relation between both? I suffer from trichotillomania but i dont know whether i suffer from Bipolar.

However, i do undergo great levels of stress at times as well as heights of happiness. i experience the following:

* feelings of unhappiness that don't go away

* feeling that you want to burst into tears for no reason

* losing interest in things

* being unable to enjoy things

* feeling restless and agitated

* losing self-confidence

* feeling useless, inadequate and hopeless

* feeling more irritable than usual

* thinking of suicide

  1. Not necessarily a relationship between the two, but you can have multiple mental health challenges, and more than one diagnosis.

    Your list of symptoms sound more like depression rather than bipolar.  Have you been assessed for depression?

    With the symptoms you describe, I would suggest you be very thoughtful of your diet.  Stay away from sugar and from processed foods.  Sugar has absolutely no nutrients.  Worse, it burns up B vitamins at an alarming rate...B vitamins are critical for nerve health.  Processed foods contain many man made ingredients that are neuro-toxic, can cross the blood-brain barrier and have a very negative impact on brain function.  If you pay attention to what you eat and take note of how you feel afterward...you may see a connection.  Many folks discover that eating sugar or processed foods triggers their symptoms.
