You can hold ice but not for long before it totally melts into water. :)  You have to hold it to put it in the cup or take it from one place to another right? :)

Well, sort of. I mean, you can have ice sitting in your hand, but since you're hand is warm then the bottom of it will be coated in liquid water. But you're still holding the ice cube.
