im going to a 10 day camp, and i am only allowed 1 suitcase, 50 pounds.

im taking clothes for 10 days, and dresses for 3 or 4 services.

swimsuits, etc.

and also food and energy drinks because the food is notoriously bad.

are there any "tricks" you know of on how to make more room/make things weigh less or trick it into being able to take more?

thanks A TON=]

  1. further julies answer, i use the roll techinique with great success, what i prefer to do is take a medium size backpack, lay all of your clothes outflat then fold them in half and roll the whole thing up and put it in to the backpack, this could wiegh up to 20kg and take this back pack carry on , this will leave a lot of your weight allowance in your checked luggage and because its in a back pack the airline staff wont bother you about its weight

  2. ok when folding your clothes...dont fold them hahha. "roll" themm. Its kind of self explanatory but basically lay them out and then roll them realllyyy tightlyy...everything fits much easier. Also if you need one, you can by a carry on luggage(when you buy the luggage it will say if its small enough to be a carry on) and you can bring that carry on luggage, your suitcase, and a tote bag to take with you on the plane that you can put like a pillow and your purse and whatever else you cant fit on the planee. havee funn!
