  3. why do u have blood on your carpet?

  4. I think the peroxide thing is the best thing to use, but I would stand by with some soapy water after the stain is gone to remove any leftover peroxide.  I just had a puppy in heat and had little bitty red spots on my light taupe carpet and the peroxide worked great.  I did dilute the carpet after with water to get the peroxide out. I just learned about this peroxide thing and I can't tell you how many years I did the cold water with poor results.  My daughter was having her wedding dress hemmed and a pin stuck her ankle and she had spots all over the bottom of the dress.  The seamstress made her sit and spit and suck on the spots saying saliva has enzymes to remove blood without leaving a ring.  That wouldn't work in every situation tho.  Good Luck!
