  1. are you counting the bus driver?

  2. 270298 legs

  3. 10990

  4. 238

  5. OMG, nobody that gave the right answer showed you how! You meanies!

Ok, the easiest way to do this problem is to do the math from the bottom up:

First figure out how many cats legs in each back pack: 7 little cats for every big one 7 big cats so 7x7=49 little cats per back pack, plus 7 big ones. So each back pack has 56 cats in it. 56 cats times 4 legs per cat is 224 total legs in each back pack.

Next figure out how many back packs there are: 7 girl times 7 back packs =49 back packs total.

So if there are 49 back packs and 224 total cats legs in each, 49x224=10,976 total cats legs.

Don't forget there are 7 girls on the bus so there's another 14 legs. So add 14 to 10,976 for a total of 10,990 legs. If there is a bus driver add 2 more. So the answer is:

10,990 legs without a bus driver.

10,992 legs with a bus driver.

    Edit:

Sorry I realized you may need the equation as well:

    a= (7x7+7)x4x7x7+14=10,990 for no driver

    a= (7x7+7)x4x7x7+14+2=10,992 with driver

  6. 9618

    49 backpacks x 49 cats= 2401x 4 legs=9604 +14 girls legs=9618

  7. 5504

    u take and multiply 7X2 + 7X7X4X7X4+2

that covers all the girls (7x2) and the cats (7X{7X4}^2) and then u add 2 fr the bus driver

  8. ok

    1 girl=2 legs

    4 big cats=16 legs

    7 small cats=28 legs

add the cats together-44, then multiply that by the 7 backpacks(308)

so 1 girl has 310 total legs, times 7 and you get:

    2170 legs,and driver-2172(final answer)

  9. 10990

    7 girls = 14 legs

    7 girls* 7 bags=49 * 7 cats= 343 * 4 legs =1372

    343 cats* 7 kitts = 2401 * 4legs = 9604

    9604+1372+14=10990 legs

  10. 14+(28*7)+(28*7)(7) = 1582  1582(7) = 11074

7 girls multiply by two to get the # of legs.

7 cats multiply by four to get 28 then multiply by 7 to get 196.

7 small cats multiply by 4 to get 28, then multiply by 7 to the second power to get 1372.

Add them together to get 1582.

Then multiply them by 7 to get the rest of the girls legs.

1582 is just for one girl

    You're left with 11074.

    11076 counting the bus driver

  11. without the driver : 1582

    with the driver : 1590

  12. a lot
