Please refer me to a website or if you are an experienced volleyball player offer me your tricks and tips. Thanks.

  1. Volleyball is a very tough sport! When I was in Japan, I was in my high school's team even though, I wasn't good at it.

  2. I think serving is one of the harder parts of volleyball but once you get the hang of it it can be fun. make sure your fingers don't bend back when you hit the ball and your not throwing the ball too high in the air. take a step and try to throw your whole body into it. I used to not be able to serve the ball half way across the court but once I got the hang of it I became one of the best servers on the team.

  3. Here's a couple of things that may help...

1.) Be solid.  Try to hit the ball with as straight a line as possible.  Don't break your wrist.  Don't bend your elbow.  Reach as high as you can.

2.)  Use your lower body.  Toss the ball in front of you, then step with your opposite foot (if you serve right handed, step with your left foot) and bring your body to the ball.  Throw your hips through the ball.  Get your momentum moving to the net.

    Good Luck.

  4. Serving is really hard to perfect.

I know for me when I mess up a serve it's because of my toss. So to see if you have a good toss, get ready to serve- so you should be standing with your left foot forward and your right back more (if you're a righty, lefty is opposite feet) make sure your weight is on your back leg and toss the ball high enough for you to contact as high as you can and directly in front of your back leg.

If your toss is good make sure you get all your weight into it, you do this by having all your weight on your back foot and then transfer ll your weight/momentum forward make sure you use everything from your feet to your hand, especially your hips, your hips are soo important.

I hope this helps and I hope you get the serve you want

  5. just find a rythem to go with ur sevrve for instance i always curl the ball an take two steps or else i mess up but thats me just wacth som people and try thier stance till u find 1 that u like an r comfortable with

  6. If you've had all that instruction and tried that hard, there is not website that is going to magically fix it.  Even though you may want it so bad and you've been given great training, you may lack the talent to be really good.  That isnt' a crime.

  7. Try this, which is what we do at USYVL:

Start serving at the 10-yard line, perfect your stance and swing. Once you are confident that you can do 10 good serves there, move back to 20 yard from the net, before moving to the baseline that is 30 yard from the net.

This process is meant to build your self-confidence, and to perfect your stance and swing while making "good" serves. You can try moving 2 feet back after each 10 good serves starting from the 10-yard line.

Make sure you practice your serves everyday, and don't be afraid of going closer to the net the next day.

  8. i dont have any tips other than swing hard, but im in the same boat, so dont get discouraged, you're not the only one!
