Tried to insert new stereo into car and somehow lost power locks, anybody?

I just bought my boyfriend a new stereo for his birthday, I guess he tried to hook it up and failed. Now his power locks are not working, he tried to unhook the battery and that didn't work. Any other suggestions?

cut the wrong wire or spliced into the wrong one also check fuses most likely happened when you installed speakers in the doors

What car is it going in?  That may help us figure out what is wrong.

Edit: I replied to your e-mail so check that.  Basically you need the proper wiring harness for your vehicle.  Most 2000+ GMs need this wiring harness.
