Tried to install floppy disk drive but unsuccessful, now can t start up computer.?

when i go into bios it says hard drive not installed.what can i do to repair this

You probably screwed up some connection inside the computer. Check all of the four pin power cables and ribbon cables connected to the hard drive.

While connecting up the floppy drive you must have loosened either the data cable (the flat ribbon) or the power cable to the hard drive. Make sure these are properly in place. Also make sure you have the floppy cable inserted the right way around....usually the stripe on the edge of the ribbon cable has to go on towards the power connection.

Then make sure the bios is set up to boot from the hard drive, not the floppy (which will be called drive A).
