Tried to tell a teacher about abuse, & they didnt believe you?

Question

Have any of you ever tried to ask for help, and tell a teacher about abuse you were suffering at home or anything like that, and they flat out dismissed it, didnt believe you, or were too umcomfortable to care?

I need to know if this happened to any of you, and what did the teacher say specifically? Thanks to anyone who answers!

well if the teacher dosen't belive oyu....you can go to the concelor...school usually have like a person that you can talked to bout this thing....and if that dosent work go to the police then

Go to someone higher than the teacher, tell a counselor or go to the principal... if a teacher just dismissed something like abuse, they should be repremanded for that.

I would call the police or talk to another teacher and report the abuse and the teacher that dismissed it. It is their legal responsibility to report any and all child abuse that comes their way.

Hunny please please listen to these words i tell you.

A teacher is nothing they are the low man on the totem pole. They are nothing and can't be anything until they get higher in the job. MOST teachers do not care. I am sorry if you are being abused this isn't right. Please tell someone. People care about you and i can promise you they would like to see some old lady(you) in a casket rather than a young(I'm guessing) beautiful girl. Please tell someone i was abused also. I'm 13 and i told my mom that my dad did let's just say there was an end put to that. If you EVER EVER need someone to talk to please e-mail me. I will offer all i have that i can give to you over the internet lol. Please tell someone. Remember there are people that do care about you.

go to someone with more authority,

teachers can get in a LOT of trouble if they know about something like that and don't report it.
