  1. 68 degrees 40 minutes is the same as 68 + 40/60 degrees (and make sure you're in degrees mode)

    since most calculators don't have a cot button, remember that cot = 1/tan

    so cot 68 degrees 40 minutes = 1 / tan (68 + 40/60) = .3906

    you could also calculate [cos (68 + 40/60)] / [sin(68 + 40/60)] = .3906

    remember that there are 60 minutes / degree, and 60 seconds / minute

    sec = 1 / cos

    csc = 1 / sin

  2. cos(68 40')

    ----------------

    sin(68 40')

    -2.078792876

  3. 40/60 = 2/3 = 0.666666

    cot (68.66) = ?

    Don't forget to set your calculator in degrees(if u want your angle to be in degrees)

  4. cot 68deg 40min = 0.391

  5. 40 minutes? (not too sure what you mean by that)

    Remember, cot 68 is the same as (cos 68) / (sin 68)

    cot 68 ≈ 0.3746 / 0.9272

    cot 68 ≈ 0.40401

    Also, remember to set your calculator to degrees (if you want the answer to be in degrees)
