  1. I'm a 14 year old female and have been struggling with panic disorder since I was 11 or 12. Being in the center of a room, an open area, being really hot, sitting at my desk, and laughing too hard all trigger panic for myself. Triggers can be really weird things like hearing the name of a product, or doing a certain activity. The only one of those I find weird to cause panic would be taking showers in the morning. If I were you, I would take showers at night to lessen your anxiety and panic throughout the day. To minimize your panic during school my psychologist recorded a relaxation activity and I listen to it at night and before school if I have something stressful happening that day. You can probably get a tape at a bookstore or on the internet. Good luck and remember that deep breathing (from your stomach, not chest) makes it physically impossible to get anymore panicky.

  2. During panic attack, body prepares to face a great danger and the emergency hormones are produced. The person may experience a heart attack feeling.

'Panic away' is a program that helped several people to escape from panic attack and anxiety

    Good Luck

  3. Yes, those all can be triggers. Probably because you had panic attacks in those situations, you now associate those situations with panicky feelings.

In high school, I had a major panic attack in one of my classes, and I had to quit that class because I always feared I would panic again in that class.

    Everyone has different triggers.

P.S. Being very hot freaks me out too.
