Tring to hang curtins over vertical blinds?

i have a huge bay window in my living room can some one tell me how to hang curtins over my blinds with out it looking stupid.

You have to get the extension hangers to fit over your blinds. Measure the blinds, how far they stick out, then give yourself another inch and these are the ones to buy. Make sure you put one every three feet. If the windows are six feet two, ten feet three.

You will need to put up the hardware for the rods,  and I would only put the curtains on each side instead of over the whole window.......The long wood rod will be rather expensive but, will look nice

It shouldn't look stupid if there is enough room above the brackets holding the blinds to install the new curtain rod.They make a rod made for bay windows to hang curtains on.It is curved and your drapes will hang just right. Hope this helps.
