last night Cotto was able to outbox margarito for the first half of the fight before losing gas to the constent pressure despite being four inches taller.

Trinidad and Margarito have exact height and reach. Trinidad was also a very skilled boxer and never lost at welterweight divison.

Tito Trinidad could be considered as the hardest hitting (as for both hands) Welterweight of all-time. No person, not even Margarito, would take his punch during Tito's prime. Hearns had great power, but his power was in his right hand. Tito during his prime could knock any fighter out with any of his hands (especially his left).

dude thats a tough one to call cause Tito was awsome in his prime but i would still have to go with my man Margarito answer yourself one question how can you stop a man who can't get hurt just remember Margarito 3 of his 5 loses came as a teenager i don't even count those as  loses he was so young and his most recent loss one year ago to Paul Williams he didn't fight then like he does now its like that fight alone made Margarito do a 360 change he learned alot from that fight he is 3-0 since then and he just beat the best p4p boxer in boxing so yes the Margarito of today slightly edges Trinidad in his prime to me.  great question though

TRINIDAD VS MARGARITO would be a beautiful fight. Obviously Margarito has some business to take care of in the welter weight division but promoters should look at trying to set up a tito vs marg. People say tito has slowed down but he cant be much slower then margarito. It would be a fight of wills. Both are similar heights and the age difference is not far off. If tito went the distance against jones he deserves a shot at this fight to take the belt back to PR.
