Trinidadian???

Question

I have a friend who was born in January,1978 here in the states, but her "Birth Mother" & "Birth Father" are from Trinidad. She just got papers from the foster care agency in Brklyn NY, MercyFirst. It just details why her mother gave her up for adoption and the situation at the time. My question to you people, what is her next step in finding her parents? There is a possibility that 2 of her aunts are here in the U.S. along with her maternal grandmother.

Wow how exciting is this. well does she know where they are what state? ifshe does she can call the health depart or depart where the records are. she could call the social security office if she has names> can she find her folks in Trinidad? gosh that is neat. i am so happy for you please let me know ho wit goes i am adoptee and found my real family 20 years ago only to have sisters disown me not too long ago. suzanne ([e-mail])

Call the two people and see if they are her aunt and if they are tell them who she is and go from there. Just tell her to be careful because they might take it as good news or they could just look into it
